Although fire-proof glass has been widely used in buildings, there are still many blind areas in practical application, such as how to correctly use fire-proof glass, which type of fire-proof glass to use, and which parts can use fire-proof glass.

At the same time, many construction units, planning units and construction units have misunderstandings in knowledge and application, thinking that only the use of fire-proof glass can be used as a fire separation, and only the partition wall made of fire-proof glass can meet the fire resistance requirements. This paper briefly introduces and analyzes the problems existing in the application of fireproof glass and partition wall in construction engineering. Although fireproof glass has a long history before its use, there are still some problems that can not be ignored in practice and supervision:

1. Fireproof glass and fireproof glass partition wall are not divided. 2. Problems that should be paid attention to in the maintenance of fire-proof glass with spray. Relevant tests at home and abroad show that selecting the appropriate water spray system for maintenance can effectively extend the single piece of fire-proof glass to the time when the heat insulation and street irradiance are lost, and extend the fire-proof and heat insulation time to ensure the laxity of personnel. At present, many of these plans are used in functional planning such as large-scale commercial pedestrian streets, and the maintenance of single-chip non insulated fireproof glass water spray system plays a role in heat insulation. The key to this kind of engineering practice is the water distribution function of spray maintenance, because the test shows that once the spray maintenance is lost, the single fireproof glass will soon lose the function of smoke and fire prevention. However, there are many problems in the planning and construction. For example, some shops at both ends of the commercial pedestrian street directly put the decoration modeling on the fireproof glass, which affects the water distribution function of the sprinkler; Some put the sprinkler equipment under the decorated brand door, which affects the heat collection of the sprinkler; Some door head equipment is between the fire-proof glass and the nozzle to form a shelter; Some construction units did not set the pipeline of the spray maintenance system alone and shared the same pipeline with other sprays, which led to the failure of the spray water volume and continuous time to meet the planning requirements; Some construction units use the wrong type of sprinkler. In short, during construction, it should be ensured that the sprinkler can timely and effectively maintain the fireproof glass for separation, which should be paid attention to.

3. There are misunderstandings in the planning and construction of fire-proof glass partition wall. At present, many planning units do not plan the engineering practice, and the construction unit has misunderstandings in the inspection statement of fire-proof glass, thinking that it only needs the inspection statement of the selected fire-proof glass. It ignores that the fire inspection is not just a few pages of inspection statement, but a set of complete data describing the specific specifications, data application and fire-proof function of the fire-proof system. The detailed drawings and drawings of various types of glass fixing devices (gb1-571-2009) and the detailed drawings of glass fixing systems are even used to check the specific shapes and orientations of glass fixing devices (gb1-571). According to the rules of fire resistance function in article 7.3, the fire resistance specification of the sample of fire-proof glass shall select the large specification used in practice for the test, and it shall not be less than 1200mm × 700mm。 The fixed structure and equipment methods used in the test shall be the same as those used in practical engineering, and the fixed structure and equipment methods shall be recorded in drawings or other appropriate methods. However, in practical engineering, in order to achieve a transparent and excellent visual effect, the construction unit often selects the glass specification that exceeds the inspection statement of fire-proof glass, and the fixed structure and equipment method of fire-proof glass also do not select the fixed method in the inspection statement, so it is impossible to determine its fire resistance during inspection. The construction unit needs to submit the fire-proof glass for inspection according to the general specification of engineering practice from the beginning. If it fails to pass the inspection, The construction unit needs to choose fire-proof glass or equipment from scratch, which constitutes a lot of waste. Therefore, the construction unit and construction unit shall send the selected products together with the construction methods to be selected to the national inspection department for inspection before construction, and the construction can be carried out after passing the inspection.

4. Problems in fire supervision. Some supervisors think that the door made of fireproof glass is the fireproof door, the partition wall made of fireproof glass is the fireproof glass partition wall, and the window made of fireproof glass is the fireproof window. It should be clearly understood that the fireproof glass, fireproof glass partition wall, fireproof door and fireproof window are different fire-fighting products, and the corresponding inspection statement should be checked. The fireproof door should also have the type inspection statement. During the inspection, the fire resistance of fire-proof glass should not be briefly asked, but should be carefully compared to check whether the fire-proof glass specification in the statement is consistent with the on-site practice. The fire resistance of fire-proof glass partition wall also depends on the structural structure and the connection and fixation method between glass and structure. During the inspection, you should also check whether the engineering practice of fire-proof glass partition wall carries out equipment construction according to the construction process provided by the manufacturer, such as thermal insulation structural system. Because the composite thermal insulation fire-proof glass is used, the colloid in the glass will foam and swell when heated, so there should be a space between the glass and the structure during equipment; The non thermal insulation structural system uses a single piece of fireproof glass. In a fire, the single piece of fireproof glass will soften and sag, so the equipment structural system should clamp the glass tightly and leave no space.
